Kathmandu: The Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) South Korea chapter has provided PRC kits for the Sudurpaschim State.
NRNA Korea Chapter’s executive director Rajesh Rana today handed 2,500 kits to Minister for Industry, Commerce and Supplies who also represents Kailali, the district in the State, in the House of Representatives.
The assistance was handed to the Minister at Tribhuvan International Airport on the witness of Department of Health Services Director General Dr Dipendra Raman Singh.
On the occasion, the Minister Lekhraj Bhatta said the NRNA and private sector were lending helping hands to the government in its efforts to control and prevent the virus.
It is said around 400 thousands Nepali entered the State from India in the wake of COVID-19 pandemic.
Likewise, a machine for conducting the coronavirus test through PCR procedure purchased by the Humanity Foundation Nepal has been transported to Dadeldhura.
The purchase was made at the initiation of Minister Bhatta. The social workers and business community in the State at home and abroad donated for the same.
It will be given to the Dadeldhura Hospital. It is said presently the entire State has a single machine to conduct the PCR test. ——
