According to the Ministry of Health and Population, of the total infected 1,746 are confirmed in Kathmandu Valley alone. With this, the number of total infected has reached 129,304 in the country till today.
Ministry further shared that 25,348 are in home isolation while 13,299 are in institutional isolation in the country.
The Ministry stated that 38,737 are the active cases of COVID-19. Of these infected, 290 are undergoing treatment in ICU and 66 with the support of ventilators.
Similarly, 1,800 have returned home after complete health recovery in the past 24 hours. With this, total number of people recovering from the virus infection is 89,840 so far in the country.
The statistics shows that 69.4 per cent have won the battle against the virus in Nepal. It may be noted that Morang, Sunsari, Makawanpur, Surkhet, Kaski, Rupandehi, Banke, Bhaktapur, Lalitpur and Kathmandu each district has the active cases more than 500.
Mustang district has no single case of infection so far. Likewise, 12 infected persons have died in the country in the past 24 hours.
With this, the total deaths caused by pandemic have reached 727 so far in the country.
