Chitwan, June 17: One thousand and fifty-nine students of the Agriculture and Forestry University have been graduated.
Prime Minister and Chancellor of the University, Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’, awarded them with graduation certificates. Vice-chancellor of the Sikkim Skill University, Prof. Dr Ajay Kumar Mishra, was the chief guest of the programme. On the occasion, 798 students were graduated from Bachelors Level.
According to Vice-Chancellor of the University, Prof Dr Punya Raj Regmi, 568 students of agriculture faculty, 47 of medical, 26 of fisheries science and 157 from forestry were graduated from Bachelors Level. Similarly, 123 of agriculture, 36 of veterinary, 20 of science, 12 of fisheries science and 60 of forestry were graduated from Masters’ Level while nine people got their PhDs.
This is the fourth convocation of the University. It was established on Asar 3, 2067 BS. —
