269 people benefit from health camp in Lamjung

Lamjung, Sept 29: Two hundred and sixty nine people have benefited from a day-long free health examination and counseling camp organized at Besisahar of Lamjung district on Saturday.

The camp was organized jointly by Besisahar Hospital Pvt Ltd and Sunrise Bank. The health camp was organized coinciding with the 12th anniversary of Sunrise Bank.

Seventy-seven orthopedic patients, 68 ENT patients, 35 gynecology patients, 19 children and 70 patients suffering from diabetes, hypertension and thyroid got their health examined at the camp, Chairman of the Besisahar Hospital Management Committee, Guman Singh Kandel, said.

Patients from Besisahar, Gaun Sahar, Bhakunde and other places in the district availed of the services from the health camp. Doctors and health workers from Annapurna Children and Women Hospital Pokhara provided technical assistance in the camp.

Sunrise Bank organized the free health camp in association with the Hospital as part of its corporate social responsibility, Hospital’s chief administrative officer, Ram Basnet, said.
