Kathmandu: Rain has today partially affected domestic flights at Tribhuvan International Airport. International flights have not been affected however, said general manager of the airport, Debendra KC, adding that low visibility has affected flights since today morning.
Domestic flights to high mountainous and hilly areas where snowfall has occurred in particular have been affected, he said. The total 28 air service providers have been operating flights from the airport.
The weather will witness changes and there are possibilities of light rain and snowfall especially in mountainous and hilly areas for the next three days due to the influence of the westerly low pressure system, said the Meteorological Forecasting Division, adding that Kathmandu today recorded minimum 5 degrees Celsius temperature and maximum 18 degrees.
