Three die from coronavirus in Chitwan

Chitwan: Three coronavirus infected people died in Chitwan district in the last 24 hours. One coronavirus infected died while undergoing treatment at Bharatpur Hospital while two others at Chitwan Medical College.

According to Bharatpur Hospital, a 35-year-old woman of Rapti municipality-9 died of coronavirus.

She was undergoing kidney dialysis for the past three months and was admitted at the hospital on August 31 after she complained of cough and respiratory problem, reads a notice issued by the hospital.

She tested positive for coronavirus on September 2 and died this evening in course of treatment at ICU.

Similarly, a 37-year-old coronavirus infected person of Gaindakot municipality-5 died this afternoon while undergoing treatment at ICU of Chitwan Medical College.

Hospital Director Dayaram Lamsal said that the deceased was admitted at the hospital on August 21 after suffering from kidney problem. He tested positive for coronavirus on August 26.

Likewise, a 40-year-woman of Bharatpur Metropolitan City-11 died of coronavirus on Wednesday night. Admitted at the hospital after complication on respiratory system, coronavirus was conformed on her. She died while undergoing treatment at Chitwan Medical College.

With this, number of people who died from coronavirus infection has reached 20 in the district.
