General questions are not as easy as we are thinking. Very general life is really like a drama. My children will face more challenge in future as comparison of my childhood not only children but me as well, most of the parents too. It’s simple. I had knowledge about agriculture, marketing, cycling, playing and so on at that time but now our children have not simple skill to cover their books, making tea and grazing the animals is so far from their hands; are many examples we can see. I mean not that what I did and you should apply now, my concern is that to keep it continue is not easy in future. They have to do any work, any job gently, so they need it. If they are not ready then they have to face it and while they face this challenge; they will remember their parents.
Socialization is continue process and it happens either we want or not. It is truth that men are ruling over the women by showing the religions norms and values since many years in some countries and Nepal is not so far from it. The actress and actors created in many myth and religious books on the base of the role and responsibilities.
We read ancient history and know that sometimes female ruled over the male and sometimes male ruled over the female; the system of ruled on the base of power and property and after that power and property hide and raised the education issues which was only access for the men. After the education simply it’s make easy to earn money and reached to the power.
The door of formal education was fully closed for some decades but informal education like myth and religious content highly influenced female and they went up deeply with it. But in real all myth don’t discriminate female. But the original been disappeared from the ruler, priest who did not like it properly. They have great fear on it, our rules do not hand over to the women. It has supported male to rule over female. No one has taken this point as marking because they are enjoying with it because male are out door and female are inside the door with makeup bodies but they didn’t have chance to make up minds.
Now the scenario is changing slowly but still the content of our education isn’t changed as the time demand. It is very difficult to change directly to the concept of mind which came from our childhood but not impossible so far. The science has develop so many facilities now and the life being comfort than before. The access of women in outdoor is increasing now, it’s automatically balance the system. All human being want to freedom, want to check it up, the car runs without whoever is driver is in steering. So to reach in the steering time is now, and male has to practices to believe on.
Science not only give us changes but also it proves the traditional norms and values critically that are good or bad. I think gender base violence will increases definitely on future because of education system and this education increases the generation gap with parents and children. The question why, how? The answer is simple lack of practical education. Theory does not work everywhere and every time. Respect to old people, teachers, parents, seniors, and juniors, female, male, children etc. are not in practices now but teaching everywhere we have to do it. Not only female but all human wants respect as well dignity. After getting the access and providing dignity to all; gender based violence ends.
