COVID-19 infection confirmed in 9,196 people, 50 died in 24 hours

KATHMANDU: In the last 24 hours, an additional 9,196 people have been confirmed infected with COVID-19. The RT-PCR of 19,987 people and the antigen test of 495 people confirmed the infection in 9,023 and 173 people respectively.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the total number of infected people in Nepal has reached 377,603.

An additional 2,905 people have been recovered in the same period. So far, 295,395 people have been recovered in Nepal.

Similarly, 50 people have died in last 24 hours. So far, a total of 3,579 people have died from COVID-19 infection.

Kathmandu registers more than 3,000 people COVID infection

In the last 24 hours, more than 3,000 people found COVID-19 infection in Kathmandu district alone. Of the three districts in the Kathmandu Valley, 3,089 have been confirmed in Kathmandu, 643 in Lalitpur and 374 in Bhaktapur districts.
