Coronavirus infection kills 203 people in 24 hours

KATHMANDU: The Ministry of Health and Population has informed that coronavirus infection has killed 203 more people in the last 24 hours across the country.

Likewise, the number of deaths due to coronavirus infection in Nepal has reached 4,669.

In the last 24 hours, 20,998 RT-PCRs and 530 antigen tests have confirmed the infection in 8,520 people. Likewise, the number of people infected with the coronavirus in Nepal has reached 439,658. Of them, the number of active infected has reached 107,336.

Of the active infected, 98,869 are in home isolation and 8,467 are in institutional isolation. Similarly, 1,334 are in ICU and 371 are on ventilator.

So far, the number of those recovered from infection has reached 327,653.

According to the Ministry of Health, 2,458 coronavirus infections have been reported in Kathmandu, 556 in Lalitpur, 552 in Rupandehi, 434 in Morang and 335 in Bhaktapur.
