Army Chief Thapa confers Pilot Rana as Major General

KATHMANDU: Nepal’s Chief of Army Staff (CoAS) General Purna Chandra Thapa has conferred the rank of Pilot to Ashish Narasimha Rana amid a function in Army Headquarters, Kathmandu, today.

He was promoted to the post of Major General (Pilot) as per the decision of the Council of Ministers.

The event was attended by senior officers of the Nepal Army.
