COVID-19: 3,840 new cases with 33 deaths

KATHMANDU: The country has reported 3,840 new cases of COVID-19 in the last 24 hours.

This was revealed in a total of 15,808 tests including 10,886 RT-PCR and 4,922 Anitgen tests carried out in various laboratories across the country.

This takes the caseload of COVID-19 to 688,307 confirmed positive through RT-PCR and 58,350 from Antigen tests.

Likewise, during the reference period 1,993 people recovered, taking the total number of people who have recovered to 649,072.

The recovery rate is 94.3 per cent.

Meanwhile, 33 people succumbed to COVID-19 in the past 24 hours and this takes the COVID-19 death toll to 9,791 in the country. The case fatality rate stands at 1.5 per cent.

The number of people vaccinated against COVID-19 has reached 3,544,043 who have had their first dose while 1,503,312 have received their both doses of the vaccine.
