Nepal records 3,451 more COVID-19 cases, 35 died

KATHMANDU: Nepal records additional 3,451 people infected with deadly coronavirus in the last 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the health system has carried out 15,611 test (RT-PCR and antigen).

In the last 24 hours, 35 people have died from COVID infection and 2,458 have recovered.

With the addition on Monday, the total number of COVID infections in Nepal has reached 734,838. At the same time, the death toll in Nepal has reached 10,327 while 685,140 people have been recovered.

According to the ministry, there are currently 39,371 active infected people across the country. Out of which 36,037 are in home isolation and 3,335 are in institutional isolation. Of the Covid patients, 795 are undergoing treatment in ICU and 197 in ventilator.
