RASUWA: The Chinese government has provided oxygen and other health items to facilitate the residents of the district in health treatment.
Officials from Jilung County of Kerung, Tibet, has provided 300 oxygen-filled portable cylinders to help the people of Rasuwa district. These cylinders have been stored at the District Police Office for security reasons and arrangements have been made to take them to the required places including the hospital immediately, said District Police Chief Devendra Pandey.
Likewise, Chinese authorities have also provided PPE and sanitizers. As there is easy management of oxygen in the district, it is said that no COVID-19 patient has to worry nowadays.
In the past, there were only eight to ten oxygen cylinders in the district before the covid transmission, but 400 cylinders have been managed with internal management and Chinese assistance.
According to the doctors, the management of oxygen has made it easier to provide treatment to the patients suffering from respiratory problems and leprosy. The district has two hospitals, 18 health posts and dozens of community health units. These health institutions are providing services to about 43,000 residents here.
