Ramdev to conduct Yoga training in Chandragiri

KATHMANDU: Indian yoga teacher Ramdev is scheduled to conduct an event for yoga training in Chandragiri hill on Saturday morning.

He will also perform yoga and meditation there. According to Chandragiri Hills Limited, Ramdev would meditate and teach yoga to the participants present there from 5 to 6 am on Saturday.

Chandragiri hill is one of the best tourist destinations near the Kathmandu Valley carrying religious, historical and archeological importance. Currently, Ramdev is in Kathmandu to participate in the events to be organised by Patanjali Yogpeeth.

Ramdev is scheduled to visit Chandragiri hill this evening and would stay there tonight. He would also perform Pooja in Bhaleshwor Mandir in Chandragiri during his stay there.

After his arrival in Kathmandu on Thursday evening, Ramdev said that Nepal is the world’s best spiritual country while adding that he has a very close relation with Nepal for three decades.

On Saturday, Ramdev is scheduled to inaugurate a TV station run by Patanjali Yogpeeth.

Earlier, yog guru Ramdev met with political leaders, including Chairman of NCP (Maoist Center) Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’, Chairman of NCP (Socialist United) Madhav Kumar Nepal, among others.

Yoga Guru Swami Ramdev and Acharya Balkrishna, who are on a Nepal visit, are scheduled to reach Syangja district today.

In the district, they will attend 84th birthday of Balkrishna’s father Jaya Ballav Subedi at Waling Municipality-6, said Balkrishna’s younger brother Dr Pabaman Subedi.

They will also take part in religious rituals like Laghurudri, Shrimad Bhagwat Puran, Chaurasi Puja and Lakhbatti ceremony, organised on the occasion, he said.

“Both of them will reach home of Balkrishna at 2 pm today. Preparations are underway to welcome them.”
