COVID-19: 213 new cases, three deaths in 24 hours

KATHMANDU: The country has reported 213 new COVID-19 cases and three infection-related deaths in the past 24 hours.

The caseloads were from the total 6,632 sample tests, according to the Ministry of Health and Population. With this, the number of active cases across the country is 7,156.

So far, the death toll from the infection has reached 11,521. The recovery figure has reached 802,047 with 325 in the past 24 hours.

The recovery rate stood at 97.7 percent and death rate 1.4 percent.

Lately, a total of 115,434 people were vaccinated against the virus.

At present, 6,761 infected people are in home-isolation and 359 in institutional-isolation.

Similarly, 178 have been admitted to intensive care units across the country and 30 are on ventilator support.
