NADA: Karan Chaudhary defeated, Dhruv Thapa elected

KATHMANDU: Dhruv Thapa has unexpectedly won the chairmanship of the Automobiles Dealers Association of Nepal (NADA). Thapa, who has been running auto business from Pokhara, defeated Karan Chaudhary by 66 votes.

Thapa got 1,413 votes while Chaudhary got 1,347 votes. A total of 2,788 members were eligible for votes.

Milan Babu Malla, Anup Kumar Baral, Rajan Babu Shrestha, Surendra Kumar Upreti, Sunil Rijal, Abhik Jyoti, Prakash Kapuri and Bikram Singhania have emerged victorious from Chaudhary’s panel. Similarly, Nilmani Pathak, Bardan Basnet and Pankaj Agrawal have also emerged victorious.

Nirakar Shrestha, Yamuna Shrestha, Kapil Shivakoti, Pradeep Man Pradhan and Akash Golchha have emerged victorious from Thapa’s panel.
