COVID-19: 10,319 new cases with 4 deaths in 24 hours

KATHMANDU: Corona virus infection has been confirmed in 10,319 people in the last 24 hours. This was confirmed through 21,201 tests carried out in various laboratories across the country, according to Ministry of Health and Population.

During the same period, 2,540 people have recovered. The number of those who have recovered from infection has reached 824,239. The recovery rate has gone down to 89.7 percent.

Also today, four people have died from the infection, taking the death toll to 11,659. With the latest addition, the number of active cases of COVID-19 has climbed to 82,550.

Of them, 80,779 people are in home-isolation while 1,771 are in institutional isolation with 238 in intensive care unit and 43 with the support of ventilator.

Meanwhile, 119,371 people were vaccinated against COVID-19 today.
