Kami Rita set another record, 25th ascent of Mt Everest

KATHMANDU: Nepal’s Kami Rita Sherpa, who holds the record for climbing Mt. Everest the most number of times, has set another record in this Spring Season. He successfully climbed Mt Everest for the 25th time on Friday.

As the leader of the ‘Rope Fixing Team’, he set foot on the summit of Mt Everest along with 11 other Shepas.

The other members are Tenzing Sherpa, Mingma Tenji Sherpa, Mingma Dorchi Sherpa, Furtenji Sherpa, Lakpa Norbu Sherpa, Nima Tashi Sherpa, Fura Chhiring Sherpa, Phurba Chhotar Sherpa, Chheten Doji Sherpa, Tenjing Gyaljin Sherpa and Furba Kusang Sherpa.
