Five million prize to the winner of EPL

KATHMANDU: The winner of the fourth edition of the Everest Premier League (EPL) T20 cricket tournament will be awarded Rs 5 million, according to the organizer.

The prize money was announced on Tuesday. Similarly, the runner-up will get Rs 1.5 million.

The fourth edition of the EPL will be held at Tribhuvan University cricket stadium from September 25 to October 9.

Franchise teams from six cities will participate in the competition.

Lalitpur Patriots, Kathmandu Kings XI, Pokhara Rhinos, Chitwan Tigers, Bhairahawa Gladiators and Biratnagar Warriors will compete in the tournament.
