Mayor provides financial assistance to acid burn victim

BIRGUNJ: Mayor of Birgunj Metropolitan City Bijaya Kumar Sarawogi has provided Rs 200 thousand for the treatment of Muskan Khatun.

Khatun is an acid attack victim. She has burn injury in her neck, abdomen and chest.

The Mayor provided the assistance on learning of financial shortage for Khatun’s treatment.

Sarawogi provided the amount from the Mayor Welfare Fund that he has set up donating his salary and allowances. He has also appealed for further assistance to Khatun.
