COVID-19: 11 dead with 469 new cases

KATHMANDU: A total of 11 people have died of COVID-19 today. This takes the virus-induced death toll to 11,427 so far in the country.

In the last 24 hours, 469 people were confirmed positive to Corona Virus. This was revealed in 10,287 tests carried out in various laboratories across the country, according to the Ministry of Health and Population.

The number of active cases of COVID-19 stands at 9,174. The infection rate has come down to 18.3 percent.Kathmandu, Lalitpur and Bhaktapurhave more than 500 active cases while those with more than 200 cases are 10 districts.Manang, Humla and Mugu districts have zero infection.

Meanwhile, 555 people have recovered from the corona virus in the last 24 hours, taking the total number of recoveries to 792,832 so far. The recovery rate is 97.5 percent.

A total of 80,818 people were vaccinated against the corona virus today.
