KATHMANDU: The Armed Police Force (APF) Club has registered its first win in the ongoing Martyrs’ Memorial ‘A’ Division League Football Tournament.
In the match played at Dasharath Stadium in Tripureshwor today, the departmental team, APF defeated Friends Club by 3-1.
With this victory, APF has risen to 11th place in the league by collecting four points in five games. Ashish Lama scored two goals and Bikki Tamang scored one goal in the victory of APF.
Prizen Tamang scored a goal for Friends Club. Lama of APF was declared Man of the Match.
With the loss today, Friends Club remains last in the league with only two points.
