EC calls all-party meet for Friday

KATHMANDU: The Election Commission (EC) is set to hold a consultation with the political parties represented in the House of Representatives (HoR), Province Assembly and local level on January 14, Friday.

The Commission has summon an all-party meeting to discuss on the National Assembly election announced for coming January 26 and upcoming local level polls.

‘The all-party meet has been called for 11.30 am Friday. Invitation has been sent to the concerned political parties to have their chair or the designated person attending the meeting”, EC Spokesperson Shaligram Sharma said.

Chief election commissioner and the commissioners will be attending the all-party meeting.
