General secretary of cultural wing of Chand-led CPN arrested

Police have arrested general secretary of the cultural wing of outlawed Netra Bikram Chand-led CPN Khem Thapaliya .
Thapaliya was arrested from his residence at Putalisadak in the capital on Saturday.
According to Metropolitan Police Range Kathmandu Spokesperson and DSP Hobindra Bogati, Thapaliya was arrested from his residence and has been kept at the police office.
Meanwhile, Progressive Writers Association has condemned the incident. (RSS)
