Patan, Sept 28 : The seventh ‘Made in Nepal’ expo kicked off in Lalitpur on Friday. The two-day event was inaugurated by Minister for Industry, Commerce and Supply, Matrika Prasad Yadav.
On the occasion, Minister Yadav said the expo had given example that youths could invest for the productive sectors within the country.
“Ministry is already ready to promote and encourage the domestic production, which will be continued in the days to come,” he said, assuring government’s facilitation to the youth investors.
Although some grudges are heard that there was no atmosphere for investment within the country, the youths have done well, he expressed happiness and lauded their courage.
The Minister however said youth entrepreneurs were compelled to export the productions. So, how their problems could be solved on it could be considered, he added.
Similarly, Chairman of the Youth Entrepreneurs’ Forum, Nicolas Pande, viewed that the expo was organized to share the information that various products were possible in the country and to provide opportunities to youth entrepreneurs at home.
The exhibition would inspire the youths to work within the country, he hoped. He suggested the government to provide loan on subsidized rate.
There are 100 stalls showcasing various products as clothes, pashmina, organic vegetables, medicinal herbs, honey and handicrafts.
