‘My health is improving well’, says PM Oli

Kathmandu: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said that he is experiencing good improvement in his health condition.

Talking through video conference from the Intensive Care Unit of Manmohan Cardiothoracic Vascular and Transplant Centre today, he said that he is able to talk, walk and watch news.

Prime Minister Oli on the occasion shared that infection that spread as a result of appendicitis required special treatment and care.

“As with everyone related, I suffered appendicitis all of a sudden, and it was not easy to be removed as it also led to infection outside,” he said.

Hence, treatment for seven to ten days was needed but there has been good improvement. “As you see after a major operation, I am able to now stand and talk, and also watch the news,” he said. The Prime Minister also shared that he watched the inaugural ceremony of the 13th South Asian Games live on his I-pad.

Expressing happiness over the SAG finally taking place after a lot of uncertainties, Prime Minister Oli thanked the President for inaugurating the mega regional sports event and to all those who participated in it.

He also urged all Nepali and SAARC athletes to utilize the platform of SAG in enhancing the pride of their respective country and promoting regional fraternity.
