Kathmandu : Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli today returned to his official residence, Baluwatar with full recovery after being discharged from the Maharajgunj-based Manmohan Cardiothoracic Vascular and Transplant Centre, Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital (TUTH), said the hospital.
PM Oli was admitted to the hospital on November 26 and underwent a successful appendicitis surgery. “PM KP Sharma Oli was discharged from the hospital today afternoon,” said PM’s press advisor Surya Thapa.
A team of doctors including PM’s personal doctor Prof. Dr Dibya Singh Shah, senior cardiologist Arun Sayami, transplant specialist Ramesh Singh Bhandari and Prof. Dr Uttam Krishna Shrestha, executive director of the hospital, attended to PM Oli.
Earlier today, President Bidya Devi Bhandari visited the hospital and inquired about his health.
